Appointments

The Paracelsus Clinic will open its doors on July 17th 2000. Dr. Thomas Dorman will be available for medical consultations and for treating patients at The Paracelsus Clinic of Washington in Federal Way. The clinic will provide a wide array of alternative medical care. Appointments with Dr. Dorman can be made by phone at: 253-529-3050. The office will be open from 8.30 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday, until July 17th, 2000. From that day it will be open during usual business hours.

If you would like to be called by the desk at your convenience for an appointment you might wish to fill out the brief form below. The Paracelsus Clinic DOES NOT interact directly with any insurance company or agency. The medical doctor(s) at the clinic ARE NOT Medicare providers. You will, however be able to receive a bill with appropriate coding for purposes of seeking reimbursement from your own insurance company (HICF 1500). Individuals who have insurance under Medicare may be treated privately at The Paracelsus Clinic, but must sign an agreement that they WILL NOT seek reimbursement from Medicare for these services. Most of the services provided at the clinic have been determined by the various authorities to be "alternative", "experimental" and not reimbursable by Medicare and various insurance companies.

Fees are payable at the time of service. The clinic accepts checks, Mastercard and Visa.

The cost of a consultation is related to the complexity of the problem and the time allocated. For complex problems you are advised to ask for a one hour appointment or more. The fees vary by other criteria as well. For a new patient appointment when one hour has been allocated the charge will usually be $250. For simple problems or for orthopedic medical issues involving one body part and in which cases there are no medico-legal considerations you may choose to ask for a shorter appointment. This will reduce the time allocated by the receptionist and the charge.

Dr. Dorman also makes himself available for medico-legal consultations. Many attorneys and insurance companies use this service in matters connected with Orthopedic Medicine.
