Thomas Dorman was born in Kenya, Africa, but grew up in a Kibbutz in Israel. His parents were German Jews who left Germany well before the Nazi era.

After serving two and a half years as a paratrooper in the Israeli Armed Forces, Dorman studied medicine in Britain, graduating from Edinburgh University. After traveling to many different countries he returned to the university to complete his specialty in Internal Medicine.

For 19 years his practice in California evolved into what some call "alternative" medicine. His research has been in Orthopedic Medicine during this time. From an altruistic interest in patients with chronic painful conditions he developed an approach to ligament pains which led to some new discoveries in the role of ligaments in human locomotion and a new understanding of the function of the human pelvis.

Since 2000 Dr. Dorman has operated the Paracelsus Clinic in Federal Way, centrally located in the Puget Sound area and sets out to serve the public with a wide range of natural and holistic approaches. This is called by some alternative medicine. Dr. Dorman refers to this style as Hippocratic medicine.

From this work in "alternative medicine," and the realization that despite its great value, it is of no interest to the Medical community at large, came the awareness that things are quite "rotten" in the state of modern health care.

Discoveries which are either not "politically correct" or not lucrative are suppressed. As an expert in his field, Dorman was able to pry open the lid of disguise and secrecy. Dorman's writings expose the official conspiracy which permeates science in general, and medicine in particular.

Dorman's international and scientific background has placed him in a unique position to study a wide swath of history as it relates to science and medicine. It became clear to him that "received opinion" in Medical Academia is not only wrong; but worse: it is also harmful to the health of the public.
